Typically, Enviropeel is applied to flanges either on a horizontal pipe or a vertical pipe, the pipe would be expected to have an intact protective coating. The flange edges and bolts may be corroded, but the main pipe is in good condition. In a standard Enviropeel application the vulnerable areas are encapsulated and pre-treated with a corrosion-inhibiting oils.
